So the other day, I had the good fortune to hear from one of my favorite people in the world:
Webster. She wanted me to check on something with the HR Department for her. I obliged,
and in doing so managed to snag her email address. What follows is the email I sent her, and
her response (if you need a refresher course on Webster, click here)
Me: Hi Webster,
I talked to the HR Director earlier and confirmed your address change with her. She has the
right address, so you should be getting a W-2 from her pretty soon. It was good hearing from
you earlier, you are definitely missed here in the office. People don't socialize as much up
here anymore. We mostly just sit at our desks and work/goof off in silence. You always
brought such a lively presence to the place!
Cathy says hi, she's doing great. She's lost over 100 lbs. We actually heard from Shamu the
other day. She's living with her cousin and taking care of her cousin's kids. She doesn't have
a job, I don't know if she's getting unemployment or what.
Well, I'm going to get back to work before the boss starts cracking the whip. Hope things are
going well overseas, don't be a stranger! And once again, happy New Year!
