The Dictionary
What follows is a chronicle of Webster’s assault on the English language, with no gory detail
omitted.  These are all words I have heard her use.  Originally, I sent them to my friends as the
"Word of the Day," but I figured I'd combine them all into one list  I took the liberty of using them
in sentences of my own devising (in most cases).  If you can, try to use them in everyday
conversation!

Accountice – Someone who works with numbers, i.e. “My cousin went to school to become an
accountice but dropped out because it was too hard.”

Amthrax – Biological weapon often sent through the mail, i.e. “Tony hoped the white powder in
the envelope was coke and not amthrax.”  

Arthurotus – Severe stiffness in the joints, i.e. “Vernon had to stop beating his wife after his
arthurotus got too bad.”

Baze – To bathe, i.e. “I’m going to baze the dog when I get home.”

Boodoo – Mix of Catholicism and Afro-centric religions that originated in the Caribbean, i.e.
“Karen didn’t like her boss so she made a boodoo doll.”  

Boombox – A rural area; the sticks, i.e. “Bubba didn’t know nothin’ on account of him being
from the boombox.”

Career – Pair of countries in Asia; comes in both the north and south varieties, i.e. “Lamont
used to be stationed in South Career.”

Catholic – Device used in hospitals to assist a patient’s urinary activities, i.e. “Bob screamed in
pain when the nurse inserted the catholic.”

CBU – A computer’s processor, i.e. “Donna’s computer had a slow CBU, and her house was
on fire.”

Chaost – Disorder; pandemonium, i.e. “The prison riot was total chaost.”

Chemistrist – One who works with chemicals, i.e. “The chemistrist made a fresh batch of
amthrax and mailed it to Tony.”

Chiropractice – Someone who cracks backs for a living, i.e. “Anne’s back hurt, so she went to
see if the chiropractice could fix it.”

Clearified – To make something more obvious, so a person of lesser intellectual powers might
understand it, i.e. “Jason was confused until his boss clearified her previous statement.”

Coacher – The defining characteristics of a society, i.e. “It’s a whole ‘nother coacher over
there in Germany.”

Confession – What someone does for a living. I.e. “After yet another day of shoveling horse
manure, Mike decided he needed to find a new confession.”  

Cottage – What your nose is made of, i.e. “The cartilage in Tony’s nose wasn’t in good shape
after years of doing yayo.”

Countercustomed – To get used to something, i.e. “Janet figured she’d eventually become
countercustomed to the different coacher in Germany.”

Cultch – A small, radical, sometimes dangerous religious group, i.e. “Brandon’s life lacked
direction, so he joined a boodoo cultch.”

Damndo – Adjective describing a situation that lacks any favorable outcome, i.e. “That’s a
damndo situation.”

Desalt – To deceive someone, i.e. “Martha tried to desalt the IRS by lying on her income tax
return.”

Dessert – To lose control of oneself, i.e. “Scott went dessert when the Eagles lost.”

Detour – A hindrance, i.e. “Sara’s poor voice was a huge detour to launching a singing
career.”  

Dianostage – A medical test, i.e. “The doctor didn’t know what was wrong with Chris’ liver,
even after the dianostage.”

Disadone – The opposite of condone, i.e. “My mother sleeps with lots of different men, but I
don’t condone or disadone anything she does.”

Disjudge – To form a premature, negative opinion of someone, i.e. “Diana’s mother disjudged
her boyfriend before she had met him.”

Downsize – Spare time, i.e. “Ted liked to collect stamps in his downsize.”

Fairrary – Month after January, i.e. “Brittany hadn’t seen her father since Fairrary 1985.”

Furyalize – To anger, i.e. “Jack constantly tried to furyalize his effeminate brother by
eviscerating his Cabbage Patch dolls.”

Germanese – Language spoken in Germany, i.e. “Dieter couldn’t read the high-voltage sign
because it was in English and not in Germanese.”

Gouch – Ailment of the foot, i.e. “Polly had to give up her dream of being a long-distance
runner because of her chronic gouch.”

Hermonials – A product of living cells that has some special effect on other cells, i.e. “Craig got
distracted by his raging hermonials and didn’t realize the hooker was a dude.”

Hicktorectnony – Operation involving the removal of female reproductive organs, i.e. “After she
was diagnosed with cancer, Olga had to get a hicktorectnony.”

Hippeniray – Full of good cheer, i.e. “Sean sure was hippeniray after the priest who molested
him got hit by a truck.”

Hypervurnalate – To breathe too fast, i.e. “Ellen started to hypervurnalate after her husband
told her he was a zoosexual and was leaving her for a cocker spaniel.”

Imitation – Written request to attend a special event, i.e. “Sam was the only kid in his class
who didn’t get an imitation to the birthday party.”

Lettage – Leafy green vegetable commonly used in salads and sandwiches, i.e. “Molly hated
her mom for always putting lettuce on her sub, and for beating her.”

Like-did – Enjoyed or appreciated, i.e. “Even though he knew it was wrong, Patrick like-did
when his uncle touched him in naughty places.”

Lossegers – Cough drops, i.e. “No amount of lossegers could stop Thelma’s constant hacking.”

Meshmerized – To become enthralled by, i.e. “Bradley became meshmerized by the lights of
oncoming traffic and forgot to stay on the sidewalk.”

Minich – Unit of time, an hour has sixty, i.e. “Whitney said she’d only be a minich, but she’s not
here.  Probably waxing her unibrow.”

Oil – Aura, i.e. “Rich had an oil of failure about him.”

Opticle – A problem that must be dealt with or surpassed, i.e. “After facing yet another opticle
on the road to recovery, Henrietta started drinking again.”

Pacify – To indicate which one of a set of things is most desirable, i.e. “George ended up
getting heroin because he didn’t pacify to his dealer what drug he wanted.”

PeachCorps – International service organization, i.e. “Linda picked up herpes during her brief
stint in the PeachCorps.”

Perimeters – Unit of measurement indicating speed, i.e. “In Europe they don’t go by miles per
hour, they do perimeters per hour.”

Picturalize – To visualize something, i.e. “In order to not ejaculate prematurely, Ramon tried to
picturalize his grandmother naked.”

Reliable – To be at fault, i.e. “In court today, Orenthal was deemed to be reliable for the death
of his ex-wife.”

Rocksafarianism – Another Afrocentric Caribbean religion, i.e. “Vernon told his friends he’d
become a Rocksafarianism but they knew he was a poseur.”

Smit – To give an item to someone for their consideration, i.e. “When Crystal tried to smit her
loan application the bank manager just laughed at her.”

Sprung out – In desperate need of a fix, i.e. “Max was broke and all sprung out so he tried to
rob a nun.”

Tyrus – An automobile made by Ford, i.e. “Florence lost control of her Tyrus and plowed into a
group of children waiting for the bus.”

Unaccrit – At least partially incorrect, i.e. “Everyone thought Lyle got shot, but that was
unaccrit.  He actually got stabbed.”

Yoonyalized – A place of employment where worker’s unions are present, i.e. “I used to work
at this company and it was yoonyalized, but now the company I work at isn’t.”
